Type or paste on one device, scan the code with the other. Links, addresses, codes, notes: they arrive in seconds, with no login, no app, and nobody but you able to read them.
Your code appears here as you type
How it works
Anything from a code to a long note. The code and link update as you type, so there's no button to press.
Point the phone's camera at the code. Going phone to computer? Open the short address on the computer and scan its code with the phone.
The text appears on the other device, ready to copy. Links get an Open button.
Why use it
The computer shows a code, the phone scans it with its normal camera, and your text appears on the computer. No webcam needed.
Long text still gets a short link, so it's easy to paste into a chat or email to yourself.
When text goes through our relay, it's encrypted on your device. The key stays in your link, so we can't read it.
Short text never touches a server at all. Relayed text is deleted 10 minutes after the last change.
Both devices just need a browser. Nothing to install, no account to sign in to on a borrowed computer.
Scan reads any QR code, not just ours, so the text from a poster or sticker lands on your laptop too.
Short text travels inside the code or link itself, after the #, and browsers never send that part to any server. Longer text, and text sent from a phone to a computer, is encrypted on your device first. We relay only the scrambled result, the key never leaves your link, and the relay copy is deleted 10 minutes after the last change. We count anonymous usage (how long the text was, how it was sent, browser, and IP) to keep the tool improving.

On the computer, open eligapris.com/b. It shows a code. Scan it with your phone's camera, type or paste your text, and press Send. It appears on the computer straight away.
Paste the text above and point your phone's camera at the code. It opens the text in the phone's browser.
Short text isn't: it's packed into the part of the link after the #, which browsers never send to a server. Longer text and phone-to-computer text is encrypted on your device and relayed as scrambled data we can't read, then deleted 10 minutes after the last change.
Anyone who has the link or sees the code, just like a note you pass by hand. For a password or code, scan it rather than sending the link through a chat app.
Links to longer text last 10 minutes after the last change, so nothing lingers. Short text links never expire, since the text is inside them.
No. Any modern browser works, including your phone's camera app for scanning.
Up to about 50,000 characters, which is many pages. It picks the best way to send it for you.
